UPDATE: Due to unforeseen circumstances, this event date has been cancelled. Will reschedule later this month and post a new event at that time.

We took a break from community events - weather has just been too hot to set up ....BUT we are beginning to schedule them for August to November.  And our first will be on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 9 a.m. to Noon at 917 N. Elm St, Greensboro NC

We will be working with the Greensboro Pregnancy Care Center which is a Christian, multi-denominational organization whose services are for anyone regardless of age, race, religion or sexual orientation. They are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All services are free of charge to clients and funded by individual donors and organizations in our community.

We will be working with them on this event - suggested donation will be $5 per box/bag. We will have personnel to assist in unloading your papers and will then shred on site.

Come out to help us help them.

Shredding companies affiliated with the National Association of Information Destruction (NAID) have access to the shredding industry's best and most current practices regarding document data destruction.  NAID is a non-profit organization whose mission is to educate businesses, government and service providers of the need to securely destroy discarded information.  NAID provides a wealth of knowledge in the debate over recycling versus shredding.  Industry experts have written articles and entire chapters addressing people's misconceptions that paper recycling, often referred to as "pulping" , is a secure method of destroying sensitive documents.  According to NAID, "Any organization that selects recycling as an alternative for secure information destruction should reconsider that process, the risks and their obligation" (NAID Advisory #3).

When determining your document and data destruction needs, look for a service provider who is a NAID member and is equipped with the industry's most advanced destruction equipment.
Shamrock Shredding is a AAA Certified NAID member approved for Mobile Shredding Services  endorsed media destruction of paper.
You can contact us a 336-907-7046 to discuss your document security needs and how we can be of service to you.

....and we have finished the events for the Spring.  But that does not mean you have to hold onto all those documents until we start community events in the Fall.  Just give the office a call and we can make arrangements for on site document destruction at your business or home.  IF the quantity is not substantial, we can make an appointment for you to visit us and we will shred the documents at our location.

We are able to destroy file folders, staples and even paper clips so that saves you time when reviewing the items you have stored.  Our only limitation is that three ring binders will not feed through the machine.

Please give us a call at 336 907 7046 and let us help you clean up and clean out  - - -

An estimated 2.1 million older Americans are victims of elder abuse, neglect, or exploitation every year.  Experts believe that for every case of elder abuse or neglect reported, as many as five cases go unreported.  Our elders deserve better!  Join us for the 6th Annual Elder Abuse Awareness Walk, Stroll, and Roll on June 17, 2017 at Triad Park in Kernersville.  This year's event will feature personal document shredding, informational exhibitors, music and entertainment, food and more.  Learn more about elder abuse and help spread the word that there is no excuse for elder abuse!  Registration information will be available in early Spring.  Sponsorship opportunities are available.

Fore more information, contact Kim Johnson at kjohnson@ptrc.org or 336-904-0300.

We will be set up from 8:30 - 11 a.m.
